Over 200 sailors had a blast at last year's 2 day regatta. What wasn't there to like about it? Great venue: Corinthian Yacht Club and Marblehead, MA. Excellent Racing: To encourage those without huge sail inventories or legions of crew, this is a "no spinnaker" event. Shoreside Activities: in a class all of their own (Panerai throws awesome parties). The Boats: 12M's, an 8M, S&S 67, Concordia Yawls, NY 40, Alerion's, Hinckley's, Columbia 50, Stuart Knockabout, IOD's, and on it goes (are you in here yet?)
As you probably know by now, the regatta is for classic sailing yachts of 3 types: Classic Wooden; Classic Plastic; and Spirit of Tradition. You, or someone you know, fit superbly into one of these categories and this event is tailored for these boats
Oh, besides all that, moorings are available at no charge on a first come first serve basis - but you've got to register.
